Pours a very dark coffee brown, with medium head. Aromas of caramel, coffee, toffee. Chocolaty, malty flavor. Nice blend of sweetness and bitterness.

Draft at renos. Nice murky cranberry color. Does not taste like its aroma at all. Fruity Belgian flavor. Not bad.

Draft at Reno's east. Golden with a ruby hue and a minimal off white head. Citrus, caramel and yeasty aromas. Mild citrus and really grassy. Pretty thick.

Pours cloudy dark brown, as it warms dark fruit aroma. Medium full mouth feel. Delicous beer, malty, dark rasin, dates.

Sweet alcohol taste, with some spices. Attractive cloudy black color, with impressively tall head with fine bubbles. Very modest aroma.

Growler shared by Tmoney99. Pours dark brown in color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma had roasted malts, chocolate, Belgian candi sugar, and some dark fruits. The flavor had the same; roasted malts bordering on ashy, chocolate, dark fruits and Belgian candi sugar. There is a decent amount of sweetness throughout and a slight bitterness at the finish.

On draft into a tulip. Thin head that disappeared quickly, dark brown. A bit of a fruity nose. Very thin mouth-feel, especially for the ABV. Hints of fruit and sugar, but, finished a bit dry; like they used a bit too much sugar in the ferment.

Draft at Jerry’s. Dark brown with good, foamy, tan head / Toasty nose of roast barley, weed, pine, and chocolate / Medium body, a touch thin, malty with some chew, some sweetness but mostly dry with lots of bitterness / Astringent flavors of dark roast coffee and grass, with notes of lemon / Not bad, but ultimately awkward. No Belgian character.

This is one of the weaker offerings form this brewery but still tasty. Dark fruits dominate, it is sweet with a bit of tang.

Draft. Poured hazy reddish brown color with an average creamy light brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate dark fruit, candy sugar and chocolate aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture with soft carbonation. Medium to heavy dark fruit sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Very interesting beer.
