4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The Star Chicken Shotgun pours a mostly cloudy yellowish orange with a thick ivory head that lasts throughout the entirety of the beer. The aroma is citrus, orange and fresh biscuits. The flavor is citrus, orange, grapefruit and biscuits. Overall this is a nice beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle: Moderately hazy, toasted amber grain color with a slowly receding, lightly soapy & chunky eggshell foam. Nice sheeted lacing on the glass. Aroma is a little mild & timid... some faintly peppery/spicy hops, a touch of florals & perfume, a little bit of grapefruit... Seems like light-handed Centennial hops, but where’s the potency? Taste has a lightly piny, resinous bitter bite up front that I wasn’t expecting, but it’s welcomed. Followed by bitter grapefruit & orange rind, a touch of white pepper spiciness, perfume, & just a minor hint of soapiness. Malt leaves a very light toasted cracker note in the finish with the lingering soapy & floral bitterness from the hops. A decent IPA, could use a more powerful nose & a better balance of palate bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle, thanks to umich03jm. Shared with my sister. Clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker sheets of lace. Piney orange citrus hop. Good biscuity malt. Moderate bitter taste. Light sweet. Great balanced taste to this. Delicious, very satisfying IPA. Great one to enjoy with my sandwich.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a murky golden-amber with a thick cream colored head that leaves awesome foamy intricate hanging lace behind. Nose involves passion fruit, cane sugar, pine needles and resin, and angel food cake. Quite sweet, fairly bitter. Full bodied, frothy, creamy, oily, soft, with a long and somewhat drying piney bitter finish. Odd, but drinks nicely.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Unfiltered and balanced IPA. Blended aroma and taste, with enough bitter hops in aftertaste to please.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to umich03jm! Pours golden brown with a big white head that recedes quickly and laces the glass. Aroma is grass, mild floral. Flavor is caramel malt, orange, grassy bitterness on the finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour form a 12oz bottle. Slightly hazy almost clear orange/amber brew with thick persistent off white head. Head never drops below on finger. Aroma is rather weak (maybe the thick head holds it in) - what I get is light resin, grass, maybe a little citrus. Taste is very good - hops forward with a nimble resin hoppiness, some grass. Consistent from start to finish which is a bit of a disappointment - no building hoppiness or final flourish of citrus etc. A sold and enjoyable IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale yellow-orange with some nice foamy head that fades and leaves some nice webbing. Aromas are oranges, bread, hay and flowers. Taste has no sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Some citrus, hay and bread. Not bad but nothing to really make this stand out.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A good ipa! Amazing aroma and very good balance between crazy hops and nice thick malty flavor. I would buy this again no questions asked.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed orangish amber with a medium white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of orange peel, bready malts, mild pine notes. Flavor is bitter with mild malt sweetness. Medium bodied, somewhat clunky palate. Finishes bitter with a touch of butter. Overall, above average.
