On tap at Ashley’s in Ann Arbor. Poured into half pint. Golden color with a finger of head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit hoppiness with bready malt undertones. Flavor is strongly bitter after brief up front malt sweetness. Medium body and carbonation, thin texture, bitter finish.

On tap at The Buck. Pours golden with a clinging off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty pale malt flavor with balancing hop bitterness. Quite tasty.

Tap. Beautiful foamy head. Nice lacing. Mild sweet honey, floral dry-hopped nose. Full body. Tastes of a perfect balance of light honey, mild pine, mild weed. Not in your face bitter reads as refreshing here.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is fairly malty with some cracker malt notes, toasted bread and caramel. Moderately strong hop notes with grapefruit, pine resin, woodsy and dank. Some light oxidation. Pours a murky copper brown with a medium high, moderately thick, slightly off white head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes to the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some toasted bread and crackers with some lighter caramel notes. Medium high bitterness. Medium hop notes of wood, pine, resin, grass and lighter citrus notes. A hint of alcohol spice. Fairly woody. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty disappointing IPA. Bland, woodsy and grassy hops. Too malty. Slightly oxidized.

This stuff isn’t bad but it isn’t great either. It’s quite cloudy and orange in color. It has a thin white head of mixed bubbles but does have a good amount of lacing. The nose here is mild but pretty nice, definitely a tropical fruit kind of thing going on. Taste is a bit on the sweet side and this comes off as a bit heavy for my taste w/ just a bit of prickle from the carbonation. This strikes me as a bit bland overall but it does have good firm bitterness in the finish w/o being harsh. I can drink this stuff but I can’t see myself buying it again.

Hazed to cloudy amber liquid. Smallish dense cream colored head. Decent lace. Pine and citric hop scents. Some bubblegum, light fruit and caramel also in the nose. Light sweet start. Dry malts and agave/mild vegetable. Herbal hops. Finish is dry with a sharp tangy bitterness.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed prior to watching game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals...hoping for a winner! Appearance is a cloudy gold with a rich and frothy white head. Aroma is a nice citrus, light pine, well done. Taste is bitter with a light grapefruit sourness in the back end, unique and I’m a fan of it. Good IPA!

Pine bomb dominates this beer. Very bitter finish with a light malt backbone. Smells hoppy and piney pours copper with a really thick white head. Had at home watching the Hawks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

What a wonderful day starter of an ipa. Crisp, hoppy, and clean. Enjoy my friends.

12oz bottle into tulip. Minneapolis. Pours orange-copper in color with heavy haze. Fairly small white head. Aroma is heavy on citrus. Orange and lemon. Some resin notes in the finish. Taste is medium bitter, building through out. Some sweetness in the finish. Pretty well balanced. Body is medium. Thick texture, pretty. Mouth feel is a little thin. Long finish. Pretty solid IPA. The body and mouthfeel were a little weaker than I would have liked.
