Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy pale orange color with a 1 finger frothy head that fades normally. Aromas are bananas and clove mostly but there’s some nice bread and sour fruit there too. Taste is smooth and spicy. Nice mix of bananas, clove and wheat. Medium body and a frothy, fizzy mouthfeel from the carbonation. I know that’s normal for hefe’s but I still don’t really like it. Overall, very solid hefewiezen for the summer.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Campy877 (59) - Michigan, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Draft. Advertised as a Hefeweizen but more like an IPA. Not sure how they can brand this Hefeweizen However, as IPA goes not too bad!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 polomagnifico (1107) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Bottle. Aroma has notes of banana, wheat, funk, sweat, meat, sour fruits and citrus. Hazy medium amber hue with a huge soapy, bubbly, rocky head that stuck around and left okay lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly sour/tart. Palate is light bodied with very fizzy carbonation. Overall this beer is clearly infected but it’s still damn good. As soon as I popped the cap I new this guy was infected but after smelling it I new I wasn’t pouring it out. Carbonation is crazy but the flavors and aromas are nice and complex. It falls just short of being good but I’m enjoying this happy accident.

Tap at the Brentwood Tavern, New Buffalo - 03/11/12.
Cloudy orange in appearance with a decent head.
Nose of banana, toffee and clove.
Tastes of banoffee pie, little spice, toffee and a touch of peach.
Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation.
One of the better US brewed German representations I’ve had.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 crossovert (4592) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 26, 2012
Atually a pretty good take on the style. Wasn’t expeting much. It is a bit too filtered but it the banana and clove notes are there. The flavor rolls across the tongue at times though.

Pours cloudy golden, decent off white head. Nose is pungent, banana, clove, coriander, wheat. Solid wheat and mild citrus bitterness on the tongue. Solid hefeweizen for a hot summer day.
