Pours dark yellowish gold. Nose is light wheat and honey. Hints of vanilla in there and some malt. Taste is great! Very sweet which might put people off. A lot of malt and honey. Sweet but with a nice hoppy signature. Body is probably the best part. Very creamy and effervescent without being thick and undrinkable. A great beer!

tap. golden with small head. strange flavor. very mild body with light hops and a hint of vanilla. i’m not even sure what style this is trying to be. it’s not terrible, just a bit odd.

On draft at Dan’s. The pour is a surprisingly clear light amber color with a nice white head and some lace clinging all around the glass. The aroma is sweet; a nice light maltiness to it, combined with a good honey prominence and some small notes of vanilla. The flavor has a bit more vanilla to it, with the sweetness keeping a solid undertone. The mouth feel is definitely creamy, and the after taste is really sweet, which compliments the creaminess awesomely.

Tap. Aroma of vanilla, honey, grass. Lingering cream ale taste. Decent beer for the style. ----Hophaze out

A couple of tall drafts at Finley’s in Kalamazoo (kudos to them for maintaining an extensive craft brew draft line up). Clear yellow brew with white head. Aroma of sweet grain, maybe honey and hints of mint. Taste is sweet at the start ending with a slight astringency and a bit of mint at the very end. Palate is great - creamy, actually, due to active small bubbled carbonation. Very tasty!

Had on tap at a restaurant in Mt Prospect. Pours pale golden with white head. Aromas of buttery grains, honey, and some grassy hops. Flavors of wheat, grain, buttery, some grassy hop bitterness. Not a big fan of this style but not a bad effort.

6 oz pour at the brewpub (Sawyer, MI). Surprised I’ve never rated this actually. Pours a gentle hazy golden pour, well hazed, nice honey glow on the bottom and edges. A frothy bright white head atop stays as a filmy layer, mellow lacing. Aromas are clean, a gentle kiss of earth and florals, mellow clover, touch of honey, dough, and gentle cleaner sweetness. Initial is medium bodied, maybe a touch lighter but a firmer body for the style. Some clover, earth, decent dryness and mellow bitterness, faint spice. Middle shows a bit of the body, gentle florals, some graint and cereal malt, touch of honey, dough, and sweeter bread is subtle. Backend is a touch more dry, gentle carbonation, much firmer dryness than I’d expect here but also a touch girthy, so I guess it’s trying to do it "bigger". Finish is gentle honey, mellow apple from the middle pushes on. Earth gentle dryness as more sweetness, malt body kinda clings and finishes. Gentle spice. Solid stronger Golden/Cream. Not bad.

Draft at Jerry’s. Gold with good, foamy white head, good lacing / Sweet, candied, Jolly Rancher nose / Medium body, fat and creamy, smooth, good hop balance with some astringency on the bitter finish / Simple flavors of sweet corn, straw, hint of Jolly Rancher / A pleasant enough drink, if simple and somewhat awkward.

Draft at sheffields downtown. Orange pour with a ton of creamy white head. Stale fruity aroma. Creamy apricot taste. I didn't mind it. The people with me like the style but I didn't

Had in a flight on tap. There’s a small head and it looks gorgeously golden orange. A little hippy nose but that’s it. It tastes really creamy and is pretty great.
