On tap at Seven Monks in Traverse City. This is the best pumpkin/spice beer I have had. It is big and bold. Wonderful dark maroon pour with a wonderful spicy nose. Taste is bold spice with a hint of pumpkin. Body is thick. Overall this beer packs a punch, will get again.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home prior to getting some Greek food. Appearance is a very cloudy dark brownish orange with a robust slightly tan head. Aroma is rich in pumpkin and spice, but mostly pumpkin. Taste I'm not really a fan of, it's like there's something wrong with this one. Soapy like flavor mixed with pumpkin, doesn't taste especially good, more like a medicine.

Bottle:   Uh oh, that is one huge head, super foamy... Musty spicy nose, a bit like an old cupboard.   Muted spices on the tongue, spritzy, a little astringent straw in there as well.   Guessing this one got a minor infection.   Spices are muted, a bit over carbonated, with some astringent straw aspects.   Unfortunately didnít hold up over time...

bottle - Pours hazy orange with a big light tan head and ample lacing. It has an interesting fruity aroma. Because I know itís a pumpkin beer, thatís what I was expecting, but perhaps because of how it combines with the hop aromas it almost smelled like berries to me. Thereís also some spice. The flavor is moderately bitter with pumpkin and spice in the background. Good beer.

red-brown pour w/ a thin off-white head. Floaters in the beer. Aroma is pumpkin, spices. Taste is clove, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Little spicy aftertaste. So-so lacing.

Bottle. Pours a murky brown with an off white head. Aroma is of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, and other other spices. Taste is the same. Very nice palate. Not too light. Plenty of spices here, but unlike some other pumpkin beers I think this is more beer then spice, meaning that its not really overdone. It works pretty well. Just bought this as a single, but since its April Iím assuming this bottle is a bit old. Appears to have held up pretty well. Might have to add this to my list of fall beers to buy. Greenbush continues to impress me. Might be worth of a road trip.

From notes. 12 oz bottle shared during a sharing of the Advent Calendar (conclusion!) on March 30. The pour is a copper-ish with a nice ring of white head and a spotty lace. The aroma is pretty strong on the pumpkin, with good cinnamon and nutmeg. There might be a little allspice on the back end. The pumpkin is a little thin, but itís probably shelf-life related. The flavor is very good for a pumpkin beer. There is the pumpkin dominance and then there is a light spiciness. Not too much else on the flavor, but itís nicely balanced. The mouth feel is solid. A little thin, but a nice carbonation brings it together, and there is a good spicy aftertaste

Bottle. Pours a deep ruddy, cloudy orangish red. Thick white head that really lingers leave a nice filmy tracing. Taste is a pumpkin nutmeg spice with a sweet hop finish. Unique look and taste bit gets more aspiriny as you go. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from trade, aged 14 months. OK pumpkin beer, not too pumpkin and balanced spices. Drinkable, above average mouthfeel.

Perhaps my favorite pumpkin ale. Great balance of spice with a deep and strong pumpkin flavor. A bit cloudy, but well worth it. The lack of an obscene amount of ginger makes this a true ale, not liquid pie. Great job guys. You rocked this one!
