2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the White Bear Rickmansworth, pours clear copper with a small white head. Nose is almost non-existent with light caramel notes. Flavour is similar, bready caramel malts and fungal notes. Smooth and refreshing, but not very interesting.

cask years ago (found a really old rating) - Amber pour, it’s smooth and lightly bitter. Good balance. Very easy to drink.

Poured amber in color with thick creamy head. Slight hops on the nose, sweet malts, bready. Flavor is kind of... soggy. Disappointing.

Hardly any smell but looks like a proper ale. Nice thick creamy head and a deep rich taste. Like velvet. Hoppy with a fruity undertone.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask in the Thomas Sheraton, Stockton. Amber with a white head. Quite sweet at first with caramel before a more bitter finish that’s a bit fruity. Not too bad.
