Cask (Ship and Castle, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) - Copper coloured. Fruity and malty aroma with notes of fruitcake and spice. Malty and fruity taste with fruitcake, spicy malt and caramel detected.

Draught@Kaunis Kampela, Helsinki. Cloudy amber color, firm off-white head. Tobacco and wood aroma. Fairly strong hop flavor with a malty background and some wood and nuts. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation. Fairly complex, but a bit too heavy and somehow unexciting.

A bit of a guilty pleasure for me after repeated trips to Great Yarmouth 20 odd years ago and a hotel that had this on tap (and me on expenses). Hoppy, quite malty and fairly traditional in taste with an astringent aftertaste.

(casktap) hellbraune, getreidige faerbung, klar filtriert, feiner weisser schaum. Das aroma besteht aus honig-karamell und einer leichten whiskynote. Der geschmack ist weich, schlank bitter, etwas angenehmes diacetyl, retrinasal wie aroma. Bittere haengt etwas nach.

Off cask at the Wilmington arms. A nicer than most premium bitter. Light hop flavour and a bit malty.

Sweet malty aroma. Has a very rich fruity, sweet taste. Very full on malt flavour.

Cask by handpump at Prestwick Pioneer, Prestwick - clear rustic brown ale, thin off-white head, mild roasted malt aroma, pine, nutty malt and caramel flavour, sweetish

Full pint, from cask @Wetherspoon, Stansted Airport. Pours a near-clear pure amber body, topped by a layer of blond fisheyes. Inviting fruity caramel nose. Softly carbonated, and supersmooth in the mouth. Light peppery caramel flavor. Notes of nuts and jammy fruits. Spicy/earthy bitterness underneath. A moreish and well-conditioned Bitter.

Drought at justice mill.
Relatively clear, slight amber hue.
Caramel and light malty.
Slightly malty with caramel flavors. Just a hint of bitterness, but finish is definetly sweet.
