Tasted 15/4/2013 draught "Fox & Pheasant", Stoke-Poges, Buckinghamshire. Poured a semi-clear mid-brown colour with a thin white bubble line that diminished quickly. Laced OK. No carbonation - not a bubble. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. Taste initally soft sweet malt then bitterness. Light body, bordering on watery. Smooth and sweetish with a bitter finish. Quite OK.

(Cask): Amber colour, small white head that lasted. A sweet aroma with hints of malts, caramel and biscuits. Similar in taste with a fruity presence. A little bit flat and boring but not bad.

Tap at Abbot’s Choice, Tokyo. Amber colour with a small white head. Fruity malt aroma. Flavour is fruity, malt, caramel.

Appearance: Chestnut brown, medium pure white head. Aroma: Malty, quite biscuit like, dark fruit, caramel and skunky grass hops, flavour: Bitter sweet, caramel, grass, quite sweet with a dry mouthfeel and a ling bitter finish.

Cask. Clear honey coloured beer with a thick white head. Malt nose with a hint of melon and orange. Quite tasty in the mouth - orange, melon, lemon and a thick malt backbone giving some sweetness amongst the bitter. Finish is big, long and bitter. Decent.
