Caramel, and some diacetyl in aroma, some light hop and fruity notes coming through. Very clear, copper, appropriate just off-white head. Caramel and some diacetyl again in flavour. Finishes with a slightly tannic-like bitterness and some fruitiness in after-taste. Medium body, light carbonation. Average beer overall.

500 ml can. Pours a clear amber with a large cascading off-white head though it settles quite quickly. Aromas are dominated by the caramel sweetness of the crystal malts. Tastes are very typical of the ESB with definite sweet caramel malts and a some red licorice. Sweetness almost to the point of being cloying. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel with a medium bittersweet finish. This beer might actually be better a little colder.

Roasted sugar in aroma
Citric flavour in finish
Subtle caramel in finish

A great amber beer.

Kolor bursztynowy, klarowny. Smak: tutaj zdecydowanie du?o wi?cej karmelu mo?e nawet za du?o, ponownie delikatna owocowo?? no i to by by?o na tyle. Goryczka delikatna, mydlana. Wysycenie niskie.

Ljusbrun klar. Ganska mycket skum. Luktar lite päron. Smakar smörkola, päron svagt bränt. God bitter.

Kolor: Przepiękny bursztyn. Bardzo klarowny.
Piana: Czapowata, biała, solidna. Znika po czasie tworząc cieniutką koronkę. Zapach: Słodowo-chmielowy. Bardzo przyjemny. Słodkie rodzynki i karmel.
Smak: Bogate w smaku. Słodowy, owocowy aromat i solidna długotrwała goryczka. Cudownie zbalansowane.
Prawdopodobnie No 1 w brytyjskich pubach. Praktycznie każdy porządny pub w UK ma go w swojej ofercie. Uwielbiam jego smak i aromat. Gdyby było ogólnodostępne w Polsce byłoby moim ulubionym piwem codziennym.

Pours copper with white medium head which goes quickly away. Aroma is malty, some caramel and old cloves. Some alcohol goes into nose as well. Taste is light, some oily and creamy notes together with mild bitterness. Light carbonisation. Nose is not satisfied, otherwise drinkable.

500ml bottle at home. Amber colour with a lively white head that fizzed away to nothing. Malty, toffee aroma, grassy, toffee flavour. Pleasant if unspectacular
