3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at JDW Putney. Reddy brown, still, pretty clear, scummy head, thick lacing. Aroma is non-deScript. Body is medium, low carbonation, pretty smooth mouthfeel. Taste is tangy and rummy, big rounded toffee malt character - almost pungent, a little dry and ashy, gluey, resiny. A malt bomb of a beer, just right for the season.
