UPDATED: JUN 24, 2008 Handpulled cask at the Speckled Hen, St. Albans. Gold with creamy white head. Nice fruity, citrussy flavour with a subble hoppy finish. One of GKs better offerings. Score 3.2. RE-RATE: I’ve just tried this beer again at JDW Stanmore. A fresh barrel tasted better with improved hop chacture and conditioning. Went down very well

Bottled. Shovels of hops here; liquid lemon, dark amber body, began by thinking it was a little too hopped and tart but it settled to a surprisingly good crunchy beer. Keeps on tingling. More like alkie lemonade but I ain’t complaining.

(Cask at The Wharf, Aalborg) - Light amber colour, the taste is dominated by zingy, dry perfumy citrus flavours, could use some more body, but the general impression is good.
