Nov 11, 2009 Cask. An amber beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of butter and fruit. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of butter and fruit, leading to a dry finish.

Oct 10, 2009 Draught. Clear brown with some head. Little aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Tangy spicy foretaste with reasonable bitter aftertaste perhaps a little harsh. Nice beer.

Oct 7, 2009 [Cask at Oakford Social Club, Reading] Pours amber with a small white head. Smells of sweet malt. Initial flavour of sickly sweet peardrops with just a hint of autumn leaves. Finishes with earth and a hint of bitterness that completely fails to balance the sweetness. Weird… and pretty repulsive.

Copper color with a thin head and nice lace. Plain Bitter, medium-low bitterness, and a quite disturbing metallic flavor and final. Poor.
