Cask @ JDW Southport. A clean, crisp beer in the ’Golden’ style. I liked the aftertaste, which I’m not sure how to describe. I got hops and some pleasant yeastiness in the mouth. I wasn’t impressed with this beer at the start but it grew on me. Had it not been compeing with some excellent competition @ JDW’s beer festival I may have rated it more highly.

Boiled sweets, pasteurised malt flavours with some grassiness in the finish. Light to medium body, oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. I didn’t get much out of this. GK through and through.
