Commercial Description:

Ruby in colour; robust and refreshing in taste, Fireside ia a fantastic winter warmer. Citrus hops leave a mellow, fruity linger on the palate balanced with malty overtones. Savour Fireside alone or enjoy with friends, the perfect winter ale.

Shiny amber, nice creamt offwhite head. Metallic aroma at first, hoppy but also fruity from pear and some grape. Hay and with some floral notes. Flavor is fruity with hoppy notes, grapes and with a hoppy finish with metallic notes. Underrated here if you ask me...

Fireside Full-bodied Ale of Green King.
Bottle at Bishops Arms Växjö, Sweden.
Brownish-red color with a light beige head. Fresh hoppy scent, but also a bit metallic. Medium bitterness and body. Hoppy taste.

What a beauty! Quite sweet/toffe/malty, but enough bitter and hops there. This is a real melt in the mouth taste. Great quality picture of the bottle adjacent too!

Bottle, Sainsburys. A dark and malty winter bitter with lots of fruit and caramel. Much better than I expected.
