3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. I had to try this one, despite being sceptical to the gimmicky name: IMO, most good beers are worth "to dine for" (with a possible exception of the very sweetest ones), so why should this one be different? It isnít - itís basically a decent standard golden ale, where the Tettnang hops (more commonly found in German lagers) shine through nicely. Citrussy aroma, notes of flowers and honey. Pleasant lightbodied flavour with a moderate but decent hoppiness throughout, nice but nothing spectacular. No doubt good with food (I must admit that my "dining" was limited to a couple slices of pizza), but again: so are many other beers.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml Bottle ( Drink, Tallinn) - Dark golden in colour. Hoppy, but slightly sterile aroma with some hints of grapefruit, tea and malt. Fruity and hoppy taste which unfortunately has some sterile elements. Not a bad attempt, but they could do much better with this.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from my trip through South Carolina. The aroma has some hops but mostly pale malt. The appearance is pale gold with a smaller head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall itís rather unremarkable and not much of a beer by itself.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
750ml bottle. Light, golden colour. Aroma is caramel with a gentle touch of hops. Not much flavours, quite sweet with a hint of hop. Very smooth but ending up as another boring industrial beer.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hereís the meal I ate with the beer: Fry courgettes (zucchini) in olive oil with garlic. When golden, add lots of mint and parsley leaves and lemon juice. Quick boil. Serve with Parma ham. Followed by fresh mango. Delicious. The beer was a bit thin and tasteless. At least it didnít spoil my dinner.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
75cl bottle: Golden colour, white head fades quickly leaving a lightly carbonated flatish beer. Grassy aroma with a touch of citrus, refreshingly bitter taste, but rather thin and watery. Pretencious.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml bottle. Clear light golden color. Relatively hoppy for an English beer...The taste of finings dominates the aftertaste. Definitely drinkable and refreshing, but not exactly as fancy as the label insinuates.
