aceofhearts (1373), San Francisco, California, USA Jun 4, 2007 Cask. Dark orange, transparent. Not too hoppy, but maybe that’s because I’ve had a lot of west coast IPAs before. Nice citric orange rind notes.

Pours clear golden with a small, bubbly, white head. Almost no aroma, some weak maltiness. Low carbonation, rather watery. Flavour is also rather weak, low maltiness, but a fair (though weak) bitterness in the finish. MrAleman (112), guildford, Surrey, England Sep 3, 2008 Updated: Sep 6, 2008Have been served this warm and cold and is definitely better when warm, its ok with some sharpish bitter flavours, which go quite deeply into the pint, it has a certainin charm to it and is worthy of a decent rating NosirIwont (879), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark Jul 27, 2008 Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours a clear copper colour with a white head. Mild, sweetish aroma. Nothing special. Mildly bitter flavour. A bit of wood, but not much. Slight notes of cereals and bread as well. Finish has a lingering bitterness with slight alcohol and bread notes. Feels a bit thin. Soft palate, but in a bit of a cloying way. Feels stale. An inoffensive beer. 26-07-08. faroeviking (4414), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jul 27, 2008 Cask @ the Wharf, Aalborg. Clear deep amber colour with a short white head. aroma of toasted malt, caramel and dark fruits. Soft fair mouthfeel. Sweetish malty flavour with bitter hops and caramel. Well lasting dry soft bitter finish. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 27, 2008 From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild fruity hops and malt aroma. Flavour is dry and bitter with a distinct dry malt base and a mild fruity accent. Dry and bitter. Ends this way with a mild classic pilsner bitterness.
