2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 imdownthepub (7494) - Banbury, - APR 5, 2007
Bottled, pasteurised, 500 ml. Amber with gassed but short lived head (I never got to see it!). Lying on my sickbed with a very bad back, I asked my Wife, nurse, waitress whether she could fetch me a beer, surprisingly she answered in the affimative. She brought this, I hit the nail on the head immediately with the signature GK Tea like hop and thin malt non of which I get really. The over carbonation leaves a wet paper taste and then there is a sweetish finish. Very disapointing indeed, but don’t tell the wife or she won’t fetch another.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Lilja (186) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2012

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BeerSkull (680) - SWEDEN - APR 29, 2012
Aroma and taste of hops with hints of grass and citrus, and malt with hints of fruit and caramel. A very "English" and nice IPA! However, a little thin in flavor, but that it’s also typical English ...
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maekchu (174) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 28, 2012
500ml. bottle from the local Yamaya store. Sweet, and slightly sharp tart fruit pie aromas. Bright orange-brown, thick rocky head with good lace. A mild sweet initial gives way to a sourish metallic mid palate and then a mild bitter aftertaste. Watery, slightly sticky, and very little carbonation. Solid, pleasant, and unexciting. Sessionable, to be sure.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scrapersnbeer (461) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 23, 2012
This bitter has the brewer’s signature aroma that combines grassy hopping with smokey caramel malt for a great overall nose. Then there’s the beautiful bright copper that’s often seen in English bitters. Heavy tan head, but not much of it sticks around. Unfortunately the flavor is way too sweet - almost a caramel bomb. Aside from that, it’s pretty downable. Needs a better hop ratio, but still better than the score indicates.
