Jan 3, 2009 Bouteille de 500 ml. Dégusté avec french tickler. Une biere de couleur rouille orangé avec un mince collet non collant. Odeur de bananes, un peu de sel, noix et blé d’inde. Gout un peu salé, gingembre, zest d’orange. Biere tres decevente.

Jan 3, 2009 Shared with pyrozoid. Copper/Orange poor with a tiny off-white head. Aromas of toffee, nutty, salted herbs, herbal, smoked wood. Lively carbonated, medium body... Typical english ESB. Zesty mouthfeel. Caramel, malty and hoppy flavors.

Dec 27, 2008 Tried the extra 5% version, not sure why they bother to increase the alcohol content as 3.6% was just fine. Not a great beer this one. Leave it in the shop.

I tried this beer on September 23, 2008 at "Smokeless Joes" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent reddish gold with a thin white head. The aroma was a little malt, some piney scents, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was a hoppish onslaught with a nice grapefruity finish. Very drinkable.

Oct 20, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice hazy golden orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops. Flavor starts malty and the hops kick in, nice crisp bitter finish.

Oct 7, 2008 500 mL. (Hope this is in the right place - reads 5.1%). Amber brown with a small, light beige head. Floral/earthy hops, ripe friut and caramel in the aroma, but somehow not as interesting as it sounds. Sweet caramel malt and floral hops in the flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. A little thin and heavily carbonated.
