I tried this beer on September 23, 2008 at "Smokeless Joes" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent reddish gold with a thin white head. The aroma was a little malt, some piney scents, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was a hoppish onslaught with a nice grapefruity finish. Very drinkable. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 7, 2008 500 mL. (Hope this is in the right place - reads 5.1%). Amber brown with a small, light beige head. Floral/earthy hops, ripe friut and caramel in the aroma, but somehow not as interesting as it sounds. Sweet caramel malt and floral hops in the flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. A little thin and heavily carbonated.
