RateBeerMan (39), , Tyne & Wear, England Dec 27, 2008 Tried the extra 5% version, not sure why they bother to increase the alcohol content as 3.6% was just fine. Not a great beer this one. Leave it in the shop. cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada Dec 25, 2008 500ml bottle

I tried this beer on September 23, 2008 at "Smokeless Joes" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent reddish gold with a thin white head. The aroma was a little malt, some piney scents, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was a hoppish onslaught with a nice grapefruity finish. Very drinkable. Pours a nice hazy golden orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops. Flavor starts malty and the hops kick in, nice crisp bitter finish. TheJester (694), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Oct 7, 2008 500 mL. (Hope this is in the right place - reads 5.1%). Amber brown with a small, light beige head. Floral/earthy hops, ripe friut and caramel in the aroma, but somehow not as interesting as it sounds. Sweet caramel malt and floral hops in the flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. A little thin and heavily carbonated. oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Sep 30, 2008 Bottled@SBWF2008. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is hops, caramel malts and some mild notes of wood. Flavour is hops, grass, caramel and some slight paperyness. The spicyness grows towards the finish and aftertaste. Appearance: Amber tea in color with large presentable creamy slightly darker head. Nose: Rather sweet , hint of honey with slight hop like spiciness, citric touch. Strong creamy character behind. Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied ale . Soft , slightly creamy I texture. Frontal spicy hopiness with off pepper like feel. Not entirely clean. Late light malt feel was noted. Poor example.
