3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Lighter brown with a thin loose foam. Light scent of citrus orange apple from the hops. Maybe some malt. Taste is light malt and hops. Some caramel, biscuit and I get a little apple at the finish. More biscuit as it warms. Palate is light and carbonation is very minimal but itís a cask pour. Overall un-exciting light session beer.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A bland excuse for an IPA, Iíve had this on draught twice in my life and both memorable for the wrong reasons. My o/h bought a bottle and I thought Iíd give it a try. Aroma - almost non-existent, taste - some toffee malt, where are the hops? Aftertaste - think again. I really canít understand why this stuff is still made or who would buy it.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
A very English beer. A nice looking beer Amber in colour with a nice head. Smells sweet. Tastes extremely flat, and very little to no hops or bitterness can be tasted. Kind of has a flat-sour lingering aftertaste. Like an odd mixture of a pale ale and a sour left out for too long.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Odd toasty nose, thinnish body with a little caramel and a lightly burnt bitterness. Faint citrus and a papery finish.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Clear amber colour, small head. I guess IPA here stands for "ordinary bitter with more hops than usually". Iím not so keen on the traditional taste of bitter (crystal malts), but this has a bit more hops. Quite refreshing.
