Aroma: Honey, earthy, musty, bread, toffee,
Appearance: Clear copper body, medium off-white head. Lacing.
Flavour: Medium-light bitterness, Light sweetness. bread, fruity, medium finish
Palate: Light body. Medium-high carbonation
Overall: Definitely a good beer to introduce someone to IPA. Focusing on bitterness, but still very close to a Bitter. I like it!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tall can at Laura/Gioís in South Kensington. Bold gold body with big head. Nose is hoppy, spicy. Taste also has hops, fruits, spices. A tad dull perhaps. Not really an IPA but more of a bitter, in the finish especially. Underrated in my opinion.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Glass in Gatwick airport. Very little aroma if any. Nice dark copper look with a creamy head. Looked good. Beer was flat and bland. No taste to mention. Creamy texture. Really not an ipa. Crap

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Small off-white head over totally clear orange-copper beer. Caramel, biscuit, crystal malt.... eeeeuuhh... hops? What about those green things? Faintly salty hint. Taste is much less sweet than the nose suggested, but still mainly toasted, and above all, watery and rather spritzy to fizzy. Warming up, some (again faint, of course) liquorice. Feels overcarbonated. Very, very light, bit slick. Disappointing. And Iím being polite. What about bottling some 5X for a change? And, please in REAL beer bottles. Brown glass, that is.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
As noted below, pours with a creamy artificial-looking head, yet way under-carbonated, which only accentuates the limp, thin mouthfeel. Aroma is what Iíd call typical English bitter, yet taste is completely devoid of bitterness. One of the most boring and over-priced beers Iíve had.
