3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not bad for one of the most generic real ales going. The sort of one you see going in a franchise pub or a huge mock Tudor pub off a slip road as a "hey look, we sell real ale now TAKE IT" option while children scrike and run around the place and the polite but thick waitress tells you the chefís gone off even though itís not yet 2pm. All I can currently think of it is a template of an IPA, which isnít a bad thing. No, the reason Greene King IPA is a bad thing is that they close down smaller breweries. Also, I kept this in a can once for over a year before resorting to it, and the result was a completely ridiculously festy expired brew, which I used to scare my mates with before pouring down the sink.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice deep amber/copper colour with tight head. Mild aroma of sweet malt and hint of hops. Taste to follow gentle toffee malt and fruit with a nice dry bitter bite. Easy drinking.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I was surprised to even find an IPA in London... then I came across this 3.6% beauty. Strong as hell for these people but this damn thing is bad. Itís sweet and light and thatís it.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can shared thanks to sjogro. Clear amber, lasting white head. Wort, lots of caramel, tea, light peach, some grassy hops. Under medium sweet and light bitter. Under medium bodied with weird slick feel and no carbonation. Donít like it at all.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
bottle from overseas. Lightly grassy hops and more malt than hops in a light and boring package. Whatever this is, itís not an ipa.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle in England. Aroma is light malty, some toffee, a bit buttery. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is light, weak watery. Not an IPA by any definition, in fact a pretty lame beer.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can 50cl, a clear copper beer woth medium head. Nose is low on caramel, aroma is very basic; light caramel, watery, light grassy hops, very very boring, bit floral finish.
