Not bad for one of the most generic real ales going. The sort of one you see going in a franchise pub or a huge mock Tudor pub off a slip road as a "hey look, we sell real ale now TAKE IT" option while children scrike and run around the place and the polite but thick waitress tells you the chefís gone off even though itís not yet 2pm. All I can currently think of it is a template of an IPA, which isnít a bad thing. No, the reason Greene King IPA is a bad thing is that they close down smaller breweries. Also, I kept this in a can once for over a year before resorting to it, and the result was a completely ridiculously festy expired brew, which I used to scare my mates with before pouring down the sink.

Odd toasty nose, thinnish body with a little caramel and a lightly burnt bitterness. Faint citrus and a papery finish.

0.5 l bottle from local supermarket. Clear amber colour, small head. I guess IPA here stands for "ordinary bitter with more hops than usually". Iím not so keen on the traditional taste of bitter (crystal malts), but this has a bit more hops. Quite refreshing.

Can. Aroma really astringent. Clear golden-copper colour. Taste is very astringent, almost undrinkable.

500ml bottle into glass. Pours with zero head, a few bubbles. Slight malt nose. Looks like a glass of cold tea. Spritzy in the mouth. Finishes with a stange sherbet bitterness, fizzy and metallic. Reminiscent of NZ íIPAí Tui. Not a pleasant experience.

Wersja puszka. Piwo klarowne, barwy miedzianej, biała piana doskonała. Aromaty trawiaste, tytoniowe, nuta chmieli i karmelowość. Wysoka pijalność przez przyjemną goryczkę i niskie nasycenie.
