Greene King IPA Gold is a light, refreshing golden ale that truly brings out the best in the unique and aromatic Savinsjki Goldings hop variety. The craftsmanship in this beer lies in the late hopping which creates a perfect blend of tropical fruits, mango and spicy notes and delivers a beer with a clean bitter taste and a crisp dry finish.

Piwo butelkowe. W zapachu plastik, jakiś kwas cytrynowy straszna bieda. Kolor ciemnobursztynowy klarowny, piany zero, wysycenie duże. W smaku kwaśne, wodniste, kompletnie bez wyrazu, kompletna klapa! Pamiętam że piłem to piwo jakiś rok temu i było całkiem dobre a tutaj taki syf że głowa mała. Widać że białe butelki to syf i porażka na eksport.

Bottle at a friends place. Artificial maltiness on the nose. Similar taste. Weird bitterness. Slightly rough mouthfeel.

Bottle from Sainsburys Team Valley. Reasonable Golden Ale. Hints of lemon and bitterness, breadiness. Not much else to speak of

Bottle.( Clear ) Golden with a medium body. Slightly bitter but no noticeable presence of hops. This is an accountants idea of what an IPA should be like. Avoid at all costs.

500ml bottle from supermarket. Not really an IPA in any sense of the word. I guess it’s an IPA to market it with other Greene King IPA beers. Pale gold colour. Not much hop in either taste or aroma. Disappointing.

Very suspicious looking bottle and beer, not very high expectations really. First of all: this is not an ipa. Golden ale or something, not an ipa. Grassy hops, metallic stingy taste, light body, somewhat refreshing though. Not that good, no. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours golden with a bubbly white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is floral, honey with some tropical fruit. Taste is sweet malts, honey, flowers, bit of grassy hops, lightly spicy and medium bitter. Medium body, light carbonation. Nicer than the regular IPA.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear gold, no head. Aromas are buttery and metallic. Taste us more of the same. Blurb on the bottle talks of tropical fruit! No hops appear to have been harmed in the making of this beer.

Appearance: Clear golden amber with finger thick white head. Aroma: Fruity, peppery, chalky, mineral, bread, caramel/syrup. Taste: Medium/high bitterness, low sweet and sourness. Palate: Thick grainy texture, light body, average carbonation, dry, abrupt, bitter, peppery finish. Comments: Ok and not really any tropical fruits.
