50cl bottle. Well matured. Simple old ale. Tangy, fruity hoppy. Numbing for some unknown reason. Has a distinctive Greene King taste. It is never bad. It is different form others, and they can reproduce it from batch to batch. Easy Thursday night drink.

Bottle from Tesco, Eastbourne shared with McTapps. Deep hoppy nose without being overloaded by citrus fruits. Some malt in the back. Smooth look, low carbo and foam. Develops a metalic background and a slightly sour aftertaste. Honestly said: Very average one.

Pours out of the bottle in a amber-ruby colour with low head and flat body. Aroma of malt and hops with some sour mash hints. Taste of mild hops, barley, mild vinegar, nuts, bread and light whiskey. Easy drinkable yet nothing special.

500ml clear glass bottle - thanks marduk!
Almost decent sweet malty aroma, so greene king. Sweetish malty body, almost woody. Flatish palate, despite explosive introit. Finish sweetish, malty. Almost decent, nice aged feel.

Orange beer, small soapy white head. Nose is grassy hops, caramel, malt. Flavor is sweet and malt, caramel notes, dry finish with weak hops. Pretty forgettable stuff.

Drunk from 50cl bottle bought in Wakefield, UK. Pretty standard IPA but no strong hoppy flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
