Warming with a mellow fruit aroma featuring grapefruit and orange citrus tones combined with floral and herbal notes from the Styrian Goldings hop variety, leading to a dry bitter finish. Mellow, mango, guava, grapefruit and orange peel. Malty warming and full bodied with a crisp bitterness. A real ale drinkers beer

500ml Bottle. Im a big fan of GK IPA Gold but cant stand their ordinary IPA, so I was viewing this beer with mixed feelings. It pours a reddish brown with a medium thin white head. Its aroma is sweet, hops, with toasted malts and caramel. It tastes citrusy but with a twang of toasted malts and a bitterness towards the end. I quite like this and will have again.

Served in a tulip from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear copper-amber with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, earth and not much else. Taste is a rather watery combination of caramel, and some herbal notes, with a soft herbal bitter finish. Medium body with lively carbonation. Would be OK on a hot summer day when not much else is available.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours light amber with some white head which leaves little lacing. Aroma bland and a bit wheaty but a bit lacking.

BBE JUN-2016. Tummanpunertava väri, olematon vaahto. Tuoksuton. Suutuntuma samettisen pehmeä, lievän katkera, aikalailla mauton hajuton fiiliksetön kokonaisuus.

Bottle, Tesco. Amber brown with a thin head. Boiled sweets with toffee and mellow red berries. Cabbage with traces of strawberry. Earthy with a peppery, carbonated palate. OK.

Small head hints of caramel oak tobacco nothing inherently wrong but could pack more flavour for the abv.

Wysycenie:średnie.

Ruby coloured, clear beer. One finger high white head with poor retention. No lacing. Aroma: caramelised sugar, herbal, earthy, a hint of plum. Taste: caramelised sugar, herbs, tobacco, a metallic note. Decent herbal-earthy bitterness. Fairly high carbonation, medium body. It’s an OK brew. Far from extraordinary, but it’s drinkable without provoking a grimace.

Zapach słaby, ledwo co czuć trochę karmelu i lekki chmiel. W smaku też nic ciekawego. Bardzo niska goryczka. Wytrawne. Spore wysycenie. Nikły posmak chmielowy.

zapach intensywny, przyjemny, słody, trochę karmelu, odrobina ciastek (takich suchych pierniczków?), dużo białej butelki (skunks, trawa, zielsko) i takich lekko chemicznych cytrusów. kolor miedziany, klarowny. piana w kolorze lekko złamanej bieli, mało obfita, ale dość ładna i stara się trzymać. w smaku dość pełne, przyjemnie słodowe, lekko pieczone ciasto, może odrobina biszkoptów i karmelu, sporo skóry z cytrusów. goryczka zaskakująco wysoka, krótka i zdecydowanie cytrusowa (grapefruit i skóra z cytryny). trochę ziemisty posmak, ale na języku pozostawia wrażenie chemiczności. nasycenie wysokie.
