3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml Bottle. Im a big fan of GK IPA Gold but cant stand their ordinary IPA, so I was viewing this beer with mixed feelings. It pours a reddish brown with a medium thin white head. Its aroma is sweet, hops, with toasted malts and caramel. It tastes citrusy but with a twang of toasted malts and a bitterness towards the end. I quite like this and will have again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml clear glass bottle - thanks marduk!
Almost decent sweet malty aroma, so greene king. Sweetish malty body, almost woody. Flatish palate, despite explosive introit. Finish sweetish, malty. Almost decent, nice aged feel.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle ( clear ) Another alleged IPA from this brewery with no presence of hops. Why do they bother? This is a run of the mill bitter to be missed at all

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of sweet malts and fruit, this pours a delicious deep mahogany colour. The taste is a nice balance if sweetness and dry bitterness that makes this an east drinking beer for the strengh. A nice balanced IPA kind of a strong version if their standard one. I quite like this it has a good drinkability factor and in fact too much bitterness is not my bag, which you sometimes get in this style beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - Amber with a frothy light brown head which lasts for about 20 seconds, then fades to a ring. Aroma is grapefruit, grassy hops, little bit of roasted malt and smoke. Taste is bitter and malty followed by some citrus, grapefruit and strawberry. Medium body, light carbonation. Itís just Greene King IPA, they have a habit of giving fancy names to mediocre beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber gold with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is hops, caramel malts, biscuit, faint bleach. Flavour has some decent malty notes but itís a bit bland and uninteresting.
