Cask at the Eden Arms, Doncaster. Ruby with a thin white head. Malty with none of the spirit burn and robustness of the old one. Mouth is similar, flimsy, some toffee and malt, bit of something fruity. An abomination of what this used to be.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a lacing white head. Mild butterish and malty aroma. Smooth malty base flavour with a light spice note and bitterness coming through. Smooth malty finish, rather dry.

This is very unpleasant. Its texture and overpowering mixture of malty firesome hops make it harsh to down this pint, indeed downing it in one would prove quite a challenge.

Cask @ the Wharf, Aalborg. Clear amber colour. Fruity hoppiness with toffee in the aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Bit sweet toasty malty caramel flavour.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours a clear golden amber-brown with an off-white head. Weak aroma; sweetish. Sweet malty flavour with spicy notes. Hops in the background. Finish is medium bitter hops, lingering. A bit of alcohol notes as well. Soft palate. 26-07-08.
