3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lovely reddish brown colour, with a light head. Aroma of hay, raisins, apricot. Flavour combines fruity, strawberries, cherries, with a slighty sour complexity and bready taste. Would love to taste unblended 5x. Why does a brewery capable of making such an interesting, complex beer mostly make such boring stuff?

Great stiff foam. Many nuances and complex beer. A little too sweet for our taste, thus, the beer could take a bit more hops.

Flaske @ home. Bra første slurk men kjentes ikkje heilt "rett" då glaset var tømt.

50cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a very small thin off-white head. Liquorice, caramel, dried fruits and vanilla in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Quite watery for the aroma. Taste is a bit sweet with some leather and oak notes. Overall, an interesting beer but not surprising.

Aroma: intense caramel, bread and grain malts, light metallic. Appearance: clear brown, medium, frothy, beige head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: light bitters coming up, grain and again very strong caramel malts, light dryness in finish. Overall: excellent Old Ale, excellent caramel in aroma and palate. 3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark brown, instable head. Traditional aroma, but well developed. Cereal, pecan, hay and a hint of yoghurt. Herbal taste, tea, some citrus in the back. Bit watery do the type of flavours, bit perhaps that’s just me. Mor interesting that I expected and yet still not quite my type of brew. Up the residual sugars and fruitiness. That’d make it a totally different beer though... (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Dark clear ruby color with very little foam. The smell has honey sweetness with an ancient herbal oak barrel note. The taste is strong, moderately carbonated, a little boozy and has also an oak barrel note. A little too strong for my taste, but this really is something special.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours ruby with a frothy cream head. Fruity malt aroma. The taste is malty - slightly vinous with toast, pear drop and light spice. Nice to see that Greene King have it in them to brew a half decent beer.

Piana bardzo drobna, szybko opadaj?ca. Barwa bardzo ciekawa, br?zowo czerwona. Aromat g?ównie karmelowy, mo?liwe delikatne cytrusy. W smaku piwo wydaje si? bardzo lekkie. Troch? wodnite. Niskie nasycenie oraz s?aba goryczka. Nie jest bardzo s?odkie co jest du?ym plusem.
