This superb, golden cask ale is brewed with four varieties of hops - Goldings, Fuggles, Target and the rare Bramling Cross - to give a wonderful depth of flavour, rounded finish and fruity aroma. It’s also late-hopped with all four varieties of hops to boost taste and aroma still further.

Golden with a moderate head. The aroma is hoppy in the typical Greene King way - and the flavour also leads my thoughts in that direction. it has light notes of caramel, fruit and aroma hops. The bitterness is moderate. It’s a nice and uncomplicated beer.

Flaske. Yderst kedelig, en svag duft og smag af citrus, men ellers er det bedste jeg kan sige om denne øl. Kedelig.

Pale gold with pale bubbly head. The aroma is burn’t, caramel and dry. Flavours are thin caramel malts with sweet lemon. Spices follow with a bitter.

rauchbier (3775) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2007
Bottle, from Morrisons. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Gentle sweet caramel and flowery hops in the nose, good solid hop resin and fruity caramel in the mouth with a background dry smokiness that is more tobacco than wood, quite dry yet oily in the finish with some fruitiness and hops lingering.

pilsnerrogge (2786) - Finspång, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2007
Pale amber with a low head. Citrusy hop aroma against a cookie-like malt background with notes of toffee and oranges. Medium bodied with a long hoppy bitterness. Considering it came in a clear bottle and was three and a half month past best-before-date it was surprisingly good.

Bottle.Golden and clear. Some dryness and left some aftertaste and lacing.Does this brewery find it impossible to brew anything that is not average and mundane?
