33 cl bottle.
Pours clear golden color with a large head. Very nutty and toffee-dominant aroma with caramel and dry fruits, lots of floral hops too. Slightly fruity flavor, dry malts and toffee, caramel and hay too. Very simple and dry brew, slick palate with a short, dry nutty finish.

Golden colour. No head. Slightly skunky aroma. Bitter flavour but lacking in those lighter fruitier notes that it promises. Feels a bit unrefined and furry.

Drank as a draught. Nice beer! The flavours are nicely balanced with proper amounts of sweetness and bitterness.

Keg at the Panton Arms, Cambridge. Dark gold and hazy with a decent sized off-white head. Scent of orchard fruit and a bit of pine hop. Taste is bittersweet, pleasant but not very pronounced. Medium finish. Cold and carbonated, which works well enough for this beer. Not too bad.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear deep golden color with small frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grass, citrus, peach, cereals and dust. Taste starts with light sweet, but rich toasted malt, follows by grainy acidity, mild fruitness, quite chalky with crisp and astringent mouthfeel and moderate grassy bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Pretty sessionable, without any superb features...

Radiant orange body that shimmers. Mild, intermittent carbonation spurs a sloppy, sudsy white head to barely hold. Aroma is similar to most other Greene King beers signifying similar technique and use of a house yeast. Bready, honey soaked and brimming with hints of marmalade, lemongrass, urinal cakes and soap. Quite floral with cheap perfume dominating the palate. Underneath is bready malts and yeast, licks of honey and a tart astringent sourness in back. Clammy and soapy in feel. Light bodied with mild carbonation. Doesn’t work. Hard to finish. (33cL,

33cl bottle from CM, Sello. Amber colored beer, thin white head. Nice fruity hoppyness in aroma, citrus, some toffee. Flavor has toffee, cookies, wood, sweetness. Slightly cardboardy finish, dry. Despite the finish, a tasty golden ale, something here I really enjoy, can’t put my finger on it.

Aroma: flowery, grass. Appearance: pale clear gold. Taste: light bitter. Palate: initially sweet, lacto, then bitters come up. Overall: ok Golden Ale, nothing too spectacular though. Bottle at Victoria and Albert, Marylebone.
