Large white head when first poured which rapidly disappears. Light amber gold in colour. Has a skunky aroma when opened but then settles to flowery hops. Tastes sweet and dry.

rauchbier (3394) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2013
Bottle, from Morrisons Scunthorpe. Deep gold, thin but sustained white head and good condition. Pleasant hop notes laced with citrus and pine resin, somewhat chalky and with a low honey sweetness. Quite full in the mouth despite its low alcohol content (by US standards), sweetness is more pronounced with a grainy bitterness developing but still with a dominant citrus hop note, finish shows a hoppy promise but collapses into a bitter mess

Bottle. Pours a light amber colour, usual Greene King smell opening. The aroma is malty and fruity with some peach, the taste is light and sweet with soft malt with a dry bitter finish.

berkshirejohn (3639) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2013
50cl bottle from Morrisons. Straw with a ring of white head; grassy aroma; crisp, grassy, flavour with a touch of citrus; and a green, woody bitterness to finish. Not very exciting.

Way too hoppy and no fruity flavour never mind a lasting one! Clear with a decent head but after taste lingers

Smooth golden ale with a decent head. Has a mix of malts and fruits in both its aroma and taste.
