Cask (handpump) at the Crown & Kettle, Manchester. I rather assumed this is a rebadge but it doesn’t seem to match up with any other Greenfield beers on the site so I’m not so sure. Amber coloured with a creamy head. Moderate spicy, tangy hops. Slightly tart mouthfeel but clean and easy drinking. A respectable citrus accented bitter.

Very weak powdery malt aroma with some sulfur. Almost clear gold with a lasting, white cover. Weak, sulfury base malt flavour with moderate bitterness and a hint of lemon.

Poured lively. White head. Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity grapefruit flavour. Smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly dry bitter finish.

Pale hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and floral with a crisp and dry malt finish.

Fruit and hop aromas. Small white head. Golden coloured hoppy pale and fruity with a little dryness in a crisp bitter finish.

Cask @ The Crown & Kettle, Manchester M4. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty slightly hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask-conditioned at the Crown & Kettle, Manchester 10/06/09. An enjoyable session bitter. Amber with a decent off-white head. Malty aroma and flavour with some orange citrus hops and a long, dry finish. Good.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate hoppy, grass, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average and long duration, very refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light light metalic. (290708)

A Sim rate (cask at... Crown & Kettle): Hoppy aroma... and oh so subtle at that. Flowery citric hops. Fresh. It’s the Spring in this wintery Manchester. Colour is a pale let-down, but redeemed by the lasting lace. Hopsy, hopsy flavour... and abusive with it. Tastes like a rich wine gravy mixed with hops. Very tart in the finish.
