Clear medium orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee, fruity, fruity acidic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090121]

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A dark golden beer with no head. The aroma is acidic with notes of malt and caramel as well as light notes of butterscotch. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of butterscotch, leading to a dry finish where the butterscotch note lingers.

Cask @ The New Oxford, Salford, Manchester M3. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some hints of toffee and hops. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
