COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - November to March.
Golden bitter, hops used late in brew are Perle and Cascade giving a pleasant hoppy afer taste, light sweet after taste.

1. Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 06/12/2003 Mid brown amber coloured and fruity with a slightly dry lasting malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the Gardener’s Rest, Sheffield 13/12/2003 Amber mid brown coloured with a hint of spicy ginger flavour. A little dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Cask (handpump) at The Top Lock, Heapey, Lancashire, December 2007. Amber colour with a thin off-white head. A little hazy. Quite citric aroma. Fair amount of dry malt on the palate with a strong bitter tang. Dry and clean on the palate. The aftertaste has a prominent sharp astringency. A decent drinking drop.
