Cask Handpump at the Smithfield Hotel, Manchester 24/08/2003 Copper amber colour and strong alcohol. Malty with a dry lasting finish.

Copper coloured beer with treacle toffee aromas spilling out of the glass! A rich, deep malty flavour combines with toffee, roast grain and burnt malt. The finish turns astringent and smoky/burnt with lots of balancing bitterness. Excellent characterful brew. (Cask @ Smithfield, Manchester)
