Some diacetyl aroma. Golden amber coloured and a little hoppy with a hint of bitterness and wheat flavour in a crisp and dry finish.

Quite buttery caramel aroma that overpowers any other aromas. Foggy chestnut appearance with a lasting, white foam. Buttery mocha toffee flavour with a tiny bit of hops. Light to medium body, smooth, low carbonation, clean finish.

A Mes rate: cask at the Kings Arms.
Dark gold with a thin white head and decent condition. Bread, malt and diacetyl are the order of the day. Some hops showing in the finish but not nearly enough to save it from being below average.

Clear medium yellow / orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090718]

Pours red caramelly with a fine, creamy, white head. Aroma has caramel, light grassy. Light carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Flavour has toasted caramel, dry hops and light pine. Okay, but still rather dull.
