Growler from BigZ Beverage. Pours a clear dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malt initially with light citrus, hop oils, grassy hops, and tropical fruits. Flavor is initially malty with a finish of hop oils, very light grassy hops, and a touch of citrus. Some astringency and bitterness. Definitely better at the beginning of the glass, but wears by the end. 7/4/7/4/14/ [3.6/5]

Wierd beer. The beer has an earthy, greasy taste upfront, little caramel backbone. Almost like hop oil, or extract. The beer is amber is color, white head. The flavor is earthy again, oily, very astringent. The finish is the exact same, but is potent and long lasting. . Medium in body. Wierd new hop. Not sure I like it.

Growler filled at Big Z and consumed later on the same day. Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a thin-moderate off-white head that completely vaporized before the second sip. Strong herbal aroma that actually reminded me very much of Ricola. The flavor is malt up front followed by a solid dose of herbal hops. Moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. A bit of an odd IPA, and probably not something I would drink regularly, but not a bad beer.
