Green point black duck porter: Small head, light brown color. Flavor is ashy, light brown bread, mineral. Mouthfeel a bit watery. OK, but not much going on.

on tap, poured dark brown. nose was malt and coffee. taste was very malty, chocolate, hints of coffee. pretty well balanced but not one i would suggest drinking with lunch. it over powered my meal.

Draught at Rattle 6 Hum NYC 2012. Dark brown/black beer with a tanned small head. Coffee, choclate and tar aroma. Similar flavour but sadly a thin beer...

Deep brown with a dark head. Aroma was malty, chocolate, light roasted malts, and light sweet caramel. Medium bodied. Flavor was light roasted malts, chocolate, earthy hops, light coffee. Very good.

On tap at Beloved Bar in Greenpoint. Light bodied and delicious with aromas of smoke and hay. Good session stout.

Draught. Black with a thin head. Roast with chocolate and coffee notes. Very full bodied. Thick and creamy. Big roasted malt notes but mellow and smooth.

Dutch Kills, Queens tap ($7): Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is pretty standard porter. A bunch of roasted malt and some chocolate. Nice body. A pretty good porter.

Draught at Rattle&Hum, NYC. Very dark brown beer with a lasting beige head. Malty chocolate aroma, cocoa powder, vanilla notes, roasted, caramel, some coffee notes. Malty flavor, cocoa, roasted, coffee, some tar, not full bodied but with decent flavors. Malty coffee finish with figs, vanilla and chocolate.

On cask at Barcade. Pours dark with no head. Aroma is mild. Flavor is chocolatey but mild. Very decent stout.
