(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium cream head. Aroma of light cow manure, grass, caramel, grain, and pine. Flavor of herbs, grass, florals, citrus, grain, some dill weed, and caramel malt with a bitter finish.

A hazed amber orange IPA with a thin off white head. A strange marmelade jam aroma, with citrus, a bit funky. In mouth, a crisp biscuitty malt over very grassy green hops, a bit dirty and grainy, medium bodied. Dry hopped with Citra. Cask at Get Real NY, March 19 2011.

Growler - a nicely dry and potently bitter IPA - earthy, woody aroma - dry, biscuity flavor, with crisp, citrusy, pine-like hoppiness, especially through the super-dry finish - a bit grassy and peppery through the finish - quite tasty.

The aroma is caramel, citrus, metal. The appearance is amber, white head. The flavor is caramel, flowers, citrus, metal. The Finish is met, floral. The body is medium. Ok not great.

On tap at Half Time for growler fills. Pours a clear ruby amber brown. Spicy, almost a curry note, very malty. Earthy, lots of funk. Big grapefruit and quinine on the finish. Quite bitter.

Draft @ Rattle ’N’ Hum. Orange hazy pour with some white head. Floral earthy pine aroma. Flavor is slight citrus, crisp bitterness and light pine and tropical fruit.

Sampled during NY Brew Fest 2010. Pours a hazy yellow gold with slight white head and a bit of lace. Aroma of hay, pine, soap suds, malts, and hop resin. Medium to thin bodied with a rather dull palate. Bit of hoppy bitterness in the finish. Decent IPA.

Sampled during Brew Fest NYC 2010 on Gov’s Island. Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with thin white lacing. Aroma is fresh, hop flavor. Mouthfeel is thin with nice hop flavor.

Aroma: Fairly solid pine front hop nose, some citrus notes, and some earth
Appearance: The pour is an amber color with an off-white head
Flavor: This beer’s flavor leans toward the bitter side with just a bit of sweetness for balance
Palate: The body is medium, with a long, lingering sticky-resin finish
Overall Impression:
I liked this beer a lot. A very solid IPA from another small brewery that I got to try for the first time at Brewfest. The state of NY seems to be pretty well represented with these solid little breweries that can brew a pretty solid beer.
