BLADT (680) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2014
Tap pour. Clean amber with minimal head. Very little nose. Maybe some dull citrus and muted caramel. Taste is more robust. Smooth, with crackers and fruit (figs?). Refreshing and nice on the palate. Not at all watery. Mouthfeel is the strong suite here.

a winner in the catagory we have all had these steely grey tasting brews with hops and malt balanced to produce a dead taste that meanders around with no direction. this one has the fruit, the malt the steeley grey flavor and nice lingering bitter like a good British pale. cloudy pear looking brew i enjoyed drinking a quart of this one from rosa’s pizza New York Penn Station so may i add that it is sessionable. Hell i could have rated 33 brews with that quart huh?

Public Theater, NY tap: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Taste is fairly standard pale ale. Nice amount of hop bitterness, coupled with some solid malt backbone. Sessionable, but unexciting.
