3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the dutch into a goblet. Golden amber color nice white head with good retention. Scent is muted pine and cirrus hoppyness. Taste is more balanced than one would expect of a dipa. Mild cerealness balances the citrus hop. Mouth is light to medium, slightly drying. Not too shaby.

[6252-20140418] Tap. Orange bitter peel aroma. Hazy, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Orange bitter peel flavour. Medium body is quite bitter. Good. (8/4/8/4/16) 4.0

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Beer Authority. Poured a slightly chill hazed bright gold with a smaller bright white head. Aroma of rotting citrus, cat piss, tangerine. Flavor is hop juice, old citrus, pine, tangerine. Bigger body, bitter dry finish and softer carbonation. Solid beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Growler from Syosset Beverage, 10/6/14
Aroma: The nose is clean tropical hops, plenty of grapefruit, some rind, and a bit of grainy malt
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a thin head and some mild lacing
Flavor: It leans fairly bitter with a bit of fruity hop, the light sweetness provides some balance
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light for the style, soft and clean, light heat, dry finish
This is a solid example of the style, that feels like it is almost there. Some slight tweaking, and I feel like this could be a really good beer. Either way, it is pretty tasty.

Potent yet very smooth. A hoppy beer which starts with spicy aroma and ends with a sweet and bitter finish. A nice hop profile with enough malts to balance and mask the alcohol. Not overly sweet.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
2014-04-18. Lightly hazy bright orange body with a modest off white head and lace. 3++ Aroma is alcoholic up front but eventually releases a citrusy hop melange to follow. The citrus character grows as it warms. 7+ Flavour is pleasantly bitter. Hops present with a nice citrus melange, tangerine. Grapefruit and greapfruit seeds. Pithy citrus touches. Alcohol is a bit more prominent than my preference but still solid overall. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. 3+ Quite nice. On tap at Gingerman, NYC

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Fruity and floral hoppy aroma, with some toasted malty notes. The flavor has floral hops, some fruity sweetness, and toasty and sweet malts. Pretty good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Dutch. Weaker hoppy nose. Creamy head sits awhile. Hoppy and resinous yes, a tsunami of hops no. A DIPA on the weaker side of yum. Yes it is strong and hoppy but it does not stand above others.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours light amber. Light citrus and hop flavor with mildly noticeable alcohol. Definite lasting bitterness. Not my favorite DIPA...
