COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Full bodied, deep red English Old Ale with rich malty flavor, brewed a little strong for sustenance and warmth on these cold winter nights.

For an English Old Ale, again I’m supprised with Greeport Harbor. I am not a fan of Old Ales, they kind of have a funky, well OLD musty taste that I can’t get used to. This one is nice in color, and has a mellow after taste that would go good with an evening by a warm fire.

Growler filled at the brewery and consumed three days later. Pours a clear red with a moderate tan head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left ample window pane lace. Pleasant aroma of malt with a few notes of dark fruit coming through as well. The flavor is predominantly rich malt. The natural sweetness and flavor of the barley really comes through. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. This beer is spot on for the style and is a well crafted old ale.
