The aroma is like a barn, hay, horseblanket. The appearance is a gold/orange color, fairly clear, white head. The flavor is sweeter than expected, fruit, bread, light pepper. The finish is spicy, rye, pepper. Medium in body, slightly thin. Nice.

From tap. Transparent gold in glass. Looks like a pale lager. Nose is spiced yeast, some malts. Very crisp taste. Coriander. Decent amount of chewy yeast. Overall, a tad to sliced to be a great saison.

Sample at Rattle N Hum. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal spices, fruit and wheat. Light to medium body with flavors of slightly funky fruit, spicy rye and wheat. The finish is fruity up front with a rye and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Tap at the Ginger Man, NYC, thanks to jt for the pour, 18/05/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head. Nose is soured fruits, straw, light funk, farmy notes. Taste comprises dark soured fruits, sugars, lemon rind, straw, light spice, farmyard. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Ok saison no world beater in its field though!

Tap at the Ginger Man NYC. Light golden colour. Interesting smells with a slightly funky yeasty thing going on and maybe I guess some rye. Tastes nice, a little grainy, with a bitter finish. Easy drinking, nice.

This one poured a clear darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of rye, light grass and pale malt. Flavor was similar, not very saison like, except light spices, and rye mainly in the finish. meh.

Location: Draft at Bling Tiger, 4/8/13

Aroma: The nose has some fruitiness, spice, saison yeast, and a bit of grass as well
Appearance: This beer pours a clear golden color without much head or lace to it
Flavor: The taste is nicely balanced between the spice, yeast, doughy malts, sweetness, and grass
Palate: The body is fairly light, with a bright, clean feel, a fizzy carbonation, and a sharp, clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a pretty solid one overall. It is a light, easy to drink beer, that still has plenty of flavor to it. A nice seasonal offering for drinking as the weather starts to warm up (as it finally has this week!)
