1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Oh my, my second helping from greens. This too me should be the highlight of the range with it being a 6% beer brewed in belgium. Aroma is straight up apples juice with a terrible malty nuttiness, seriously clashing together. Taste is near unbearable, i hate and very rarely pour a beer down the drain but this was seriously seriously bad beer.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: OCT 7, 2013 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 500ml bottle into Imperial glass.
Appearance: The body has a deep brownish or prune like color with dark reddish highlights coming through a very murky haze. On top I got a tall quick fading off white head. It fades out completely leaving just a little light lacing at the top of the glass.
Smell: There is a light roasted sweetness with some odd fruity wine like notes. This is backed up with some mild herbal and somewhat musty hop character. Overall it’s just odd.
Taste/Palate: From the odd aroma to the odd flavor it brings some light roasted and dark grain sweets to the forefront. From there a dry and slightly tart grape or wine like character moves in with a light herbal tea like hop presence. The palate feels about medium with light carbonation.
Notes: For me this beer just does not blend together well in my opinion and I would defiantly not recommend it.

Drank on 6/30 in Austin, during a particularly bad pollen allergy weekend. Temps already at 106 here, which doesn’t help. Normally under these circumstances, I don’t allow myself to drink beer- it makes my allergies worse. So today, we decided to embark on a little experiment to find out whether gluten-free beers really are better for allergies than regular beer. FOR SCIENCE!! I have never before been impressed by a gluten-free beer, but this is damn good. A little off-putting at first to have so little aroma- nothing but faint lemon on the nose, which we assume is due to the absence of barley. So far, so good! Love this one. We’ll see how my allergies fare later on...

@ South Denver Beer Fest 2013. Clear amber with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of crystal malt syrup and apple. Flavor has some bitter apple tones, which is kinda weird, with an effervescent caramel spice apple finish.

Soft clean amber pour with a reddish hue. One to two fingers of khaki tan head. Weird nose, musty/butty notes all over... odd flavor with a touch of spice and off grain character. Dry and spicy palate. not a fan.

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, herbs and grass, very faint malty notes too. Flavor of grass, fruits and mild malts. Nothing near a proper english strong ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle, best before 9/8/15. Shared. Dark, clear red / brown color. Thin khaki head. Good rows and spreads of lace. Moderate, lighter soft carbonation. Medium body. Good fruity and raisin taste, some fig, some cinnamon. Caramel. Moderate bitter taste. Much better than expected, really. Good satsifying body that isn’t as thin and acidic as gluten - free beers often are.
