Immy (1477), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Apr 13, 2008 500ml bottle. Clear amber with a thick tan head. Strange nose - toasty cereal and berries, some sour apple. Flavor is more of the same, with the apple flavors taking the lead. This is gross - and expensive, considering the crappy beer therein. Dry, lightly metallic apple finish. A wrenched drain pour.

Info: 330ml bottle, 12/7-2006 thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 26, 2008 This bottle brew from Indianapolis, IN was marked BBF 05/04/09. It poured a medium sized head of foamy off-white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent typically carbonated dark golden brown colroed body and a fiar lacing. The aroma was mild with brown malt hop notes. The mouth feel was tingly and crisp from start to finish. The thin flavor was soda pop like with hops and malty notes. bweezy (52), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jun 4, 2008 Pours a cloudy brown - it looks suspiciously like river water. Has an enormous off-white head. Not much of an aroma. Taste was brutal - hints of chocolate, caramel, and a "burnt" taste that I could not place. Got more drinkable around midway through, but still not a big fan of this one. biz82 (1300), austin, Texas, USA Jun 4, 2008 Clear red with not much head. Lightly tart Belgian caramel malt and ester aroma. Tangy caramel flavor with some earth and fruit. A little thin in body. Low bitterness. Has a lingering cherry note in the finish. Really not too bad and certainly better than it’s rating.
