2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 6/20Presentation: It was poured from a brown 500ml bottle into Imperial glass.
Appearance: The body has a deep brownish or prune like color with dark reddish highlights coming through a very murky haze. On top I got a tall quick fading off white head. It fades out completely leaving just a little light lacing at the top of the glass.
Smell: There is a light roasted sweetness with some odd fruity wine like notes. This is backed up with some mild herbal and somewhat musty hop character. Overall it’s just odd.
Taste/Palate: From the odd aroma to the odd flavor it brings some light roasted and dark grain sweets to the forefront. From there a dry and slightly tart grape or wine like character moves in with a light herbal tea like hop presence. The palate feels about medium with light carbonation.
Notes: For me this beer just does not blend together well in my opinion and I would defiantly not recommend it.

May 2012. Labeled as Green’s Amber Ale. Poured copper color with a white head. Some fruit and caramel notes, but a pretty bland beer.

Soft clean amber pour with a reddish hue. One to two fingers of khaki tan head. Weird nose, musty/butty notes all over... odd flavor with a touch of spice and off grain character. Dry and spicy palate. not a fan.

Pours copper color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, herbs and grass, very faint malty notes too. Flavor of grass, fruits and mild malts. Nothing near a proper english strong ale.

500ml bottle, best before 9/8/15. Shared. Dark, clear red / brown color. Thin khaki head. Good rows and spreads of lace. Moderate, lighter soft carbonation. Medium body. Good fruity and raisin taste, some fig, some cinnamon. Caramel. Moderate bitter taste. Much better than expected, really. Good satsifying body that isn’t as thin and acidic as gluten - free beers often are.

The pour is copper with no head, lacing, or carbonation. The aroma is fairly sweet and boozy. The taste is light and smooth up front but has a strange finish. It’s not pleasant in the end. I think there should be a separate category for these gluten free beers because this is not an english strong ale by any means!

Just terrible. I was barely able to finish this beer. Overwhelming sweet in molasses and sour to boot. Palate was sticky so the taste lingered.

Hazy amber color. Pours with a 3 inch tan head that’s incredibly frothy. I drank the first pint without even thinking about it so I’m not sure why this beer has such a low score and I don’t even like ambers. The aroma is creamy and bitter. The lacing is thick and superb. The flavor is light and has some musty yeast character like a Belgian, and light sweet malt with a tart, bitter finish. It’s both spritzy and foamy on the palate. Not bad and gluten free. +1.

Bottle. Foamy off white head. Deep amber brown color. Nose was rich in Sorghum and molassas. Clean balanced palate. Tastes of brown rice, molasses, and apples. Reminds me of a hard cider.
