"Last of the 4 gluten free brews of the night. If the lack of anything gluten was going to give my gut relief the grassiness of a couple o these beers saw to that not happening. Soda like carbonation, combined with a weirdly sweet musty rotten apple aroma and flavor. Not enough hop goodness to rescue this. Not good."

Bitter.. Somehow nice but somehow not good. Watery. My thoughts ranged from bad to good stars, so let’s stick to the average.

Bottle from Peckhams. Golden colour, white head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Flavour is malty, fruity, bit of lemon. Not bad.

[500ml bottle, Bruntsfield Peckhams, Edinburgh] Pours very carbonated, fast-dispersing head. Distinct, and to be honest rather unpleasant, aroma of stewed apples and vegetables. The flavour is hollow and pretty lacking, which is understandable given the adjuncts added in place of wheat. While I appreciate the principals behind Gluten-free beer, the actual product is underwhelming and pretty poor. [02/11/2009]

It has gotten really low ratings at ratebeer but I actually enjoyed this one quite allot. It looked nice and had a strong and fresh flavour of grassy hops, pine and grapefruit. Enough flavour to make it interesting. I couldn’t detect any off flavours in my bottle. Maybe I was just lucky.

Bottled, 500ml, from Sainsburys, Banbury. Copper with white head. Pretty looking beer, which basically is the only thing it has going for it. The flavours are chemical, plastic, carbonated and unfortunately i poured a fair bit of it. If it was a choice of no beer or this then show me the orange drink.
