Premium Golden Ale is an amber coloured, top fermented ale brewed with natural spring water. This ale’s characteristic aroma is a result of the specially selected de-glutenised malt and hop varieties and is brewed to an age old recipe.

Bottled, 330ml from Co-Op, Church Stretton, Shropshire. Gold with fizzed white head, carbonated. This was sharp, but sweet, hints of lemonade, there is a sweet wheaty note with a hint of orange. Not unlikeable but not really to my taste.

Clear orange amber beer, frothy white head. Nose is malts and corn, grassy hops, caramel notes. Flavor is malts, water, lemony notes, mild dough. Mild hops in the semi-dry finish. Drinkable, OK for something gluten free, but it has the characteristic gluten free "biscuity emptiness."

330ml bottle from Sainsbury’s, (as Green’s Supreme Golden Ale). Golden amber, with creamy off white head. Aroma has malts and corn. The taste has a touch of citrus with the malts and some sweetness.

Bottle - amber with a bubbly white head - good retention and good lacing. Aroma of lager malt and corn (probably that characteristic aroma the description is talking about). Taste of wheat, hay, orange and herbs with hints of cinnamon and clove. Light body, medium carbonation.

Bottle co op. Amber colour no head. Aroma is carmal malts as is taste slight sweetness a little bitterness. Medium body nice mouthfeel soft carbonation. Decent stuff this cant see the gluten free aspects have caused any major problems.

Not really to my taste this. It’s a bit malty and reminds me of a dry white wine at the same time. Rather fizzy too. Drinkable but I can’t see myself getting this again.

Appearance: Clear amber with finger thick ivory head. Aroma: Slight honey, corn and cereal notes, floral, note of dried fruit and muskiness. Taste: Medium sweet and sourness, low/medium bitterness and slight saltiness. Palate: Thick coarse texture, light body, average/prickly carbonation, lingering astringent sweet/sour corn floral finish, which develops bitterness and saltiness. Comments: Quite an unusual taste, perhaps due to being gluten and wheat free. Tasty and glass lace.

330ml bottle. Deep golden amber, foam off-white head and aroma of grains, spice, abit yeasty. Taste is sweetish grain, biscuity, some caramel with an earthy bitterness and fruity orange, yeast & metallic notes. Tangy mouth feel, light bodied, well carbonated, drying bitter finish. Quite OK.
