Bottle from Party Source. Poured clear amber with a moderate frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate spruce aroma. Light to medium body with a watery texture. Light sweet flavor with light sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.

Drinking now at the Liars Club....gold, w/small lingering head. Aroma and flavor of strong cheap malt liquor...some sweetness but off balance...so-so...

Light gold in color with a fizzy white head. To me this kinda tasted and smelled like funky apple cider with some herbs and spices. The alcohol was in your face. Sweet and fruity throughout. While the tastes were interesting, its not something i’d go for more then once.

500 ml. euro bottle, a gluten, allergen free tripel, best before date on the right side of label (07/05/09), sampled in a tulip glass.
Poured a clear orangey golden with an inch high foamy, bubbly topped white head, minimal amount of laced sticking,
Aromas of artificial fruits, a corn syrup, cereal-like sweetness, clove, flowery herbs, whiffs of solvent alcohol.
Active, fizzy carbonation, light bodied mouthfeel, tastes of sour apples and green grapes, an artificial sugar-like sweetness that leaves an unpleasant twang in the mouth, the maltiness has a strange cooking oil, ginger ale flavor, there is at least a spicy hoppiness that largely cleanses the palate, just a bland soda, sparkling water finish.
On a positive note, you could say this taste likes a gluten free tripel, but that is it’s downside too. If you are gluten intolerant, then this passable, but otherwise, there are enough off tastes to make this difficult to enjoy. I also have a feeling that this tripel will not age very well.

Bottle. Best before 07/05/09. Pours pale gold with a tall delicate off-white head. Nose is sweet malts and corn syrup with soft fruit aromas. Taste is sweet with metallic hints. The alcohol seems to come through a bit with ripened fruits, soft spice and floral notes. Not nearly as bad as the other two raters described. Body is light and crisp with moderate carbonation. Finishes sweet with light fruit tartness and soft spice. Not nearly the disappointment I was expecting!

Bottle: Pours a very pale clear yellow with barely any head. Aroma of malt and pissy corn sugar with acidity. Flavor is very light and watery, slightly fruity, belgian spices with hints of clove, acidid tart and sharpness of it is odd. not good.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale golden color with a huge white head. The aroma was bready and doughy. The flavor was lightly spicy uncooked bread dough with a long and odd doughy finish.
