Hand pulled at Out of the Vaults, Leicester. Dark, with hints of red, and no head. Fairly light aroma and taste. Some plastic and paper in amongst the choc. Rather too watery I’m afriad - early bath for this one.

Red Card (not Cards) is a powerful ruby ale with a sharp aftertaste - not my cup of tea but seasoned beer drinkers really rave about it. It can be found Junction at Baildon and the Thornhill Arms at Pudsey as well as the Blue Boar at Thornton.

Rustic brown coloured body. Sweet malts with a tangerine, bitter finish. Not as cleansing as you might hope for.
