Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a good, pale cream head. Aromas of vanilla and bananas. Flavour is vanilla, banana and toffee.

Malzig-hefiger geruch mit aromatischen Einschlüssen (Gewürznelke). Im Antrunk moderat malzig. Dieses Niveau wird bis zum Mittelteil eingehalten, tendiert ein wenig zum Süßlichen und wird durch nelkige Töne bereichert. Gelegentlich zeigt sich hier etwas Wässrigkeit, die aber rasch wieder in den Aromen verschwindet. Im ausgehenden Mittel verstärkt sich die Malzigkeit und bekommt im Abgang Verstärkung durch Schokolade und Eisen, was sich geschmacklich positiv auswirkt. Komplexes dunkles Hefeweizen. Hazy magogany with amber glimts. Sweet aroma with roasted wheat, vanilla and banana. Flavour was roasted with vanilla, banana and wheat. Soft mouthfeel. Very sweet and dessert like.

Bottle @ Brewery. Pours hazy amber with a small creamy white head and lacings. Bread, wheat, grain, nuts and a bit of banana. Fine balance. Medium bodied. Good.

Bottle, 5.4% bought at the brewery. Weak roasted aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. OK stable tan head. Weak roasted flavour, hint of caramel. Very subtle, and therefore drinkable.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove, and toffee malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with large off-white head - highly effervescent. Slightly sweet-tart orange, lemon, light clove and malt. Body on the light side. Smelled and looked great but flavor disappoints.

Cloudy light brown with a lasting white head. Aroma of banana and clove, with a hint of toffee. Sweet banana and toffee flavour.

Unclear hazy medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090808]

Bottled. Hazy deep orangeish brown colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, some wheat and mildly spicy and herbal notes. Flavour is caramll, some mild spices, wheat and some nice fudgeish notes.

Bottled (at Chriso, BB 11/2009, bottle from GBBF). Dark nut brown color, medium-sized beige head. Banana nose with some vegetably notes. Toasted overriped banana flavor. Light hops in the finish. Quite tasty sweetish dunkelweizen. Medium-bodied.
